I have been operating in consulting and corporate environments for quite a few years, maintaining the professional track of a non-technologist responsible for technology strategy and management – “A square peg in a round hole”. I am formally trained in economics and operations research, so my approach is not quite common. However it has helped me to recognize opportunities for using technology to leverage organizational transformation and to deliver IT projects truly aligned with business needs, producing positive returns on investments.
